Player Development
Player Development Model
Style of Play
All teams and players are encouraged to play with imagination and creativity when attacking and to be organized with a competitive manner when defending.
Opportunities
Elite players are highlighted and are given the opportunity to train with older players based on their ability and not simply thier age. The pre-academy teams are coached by the USDA staff to help with an earlier identification and transition into our USDA U16 team.
CTAP Early Development
CTAP stands for Challenge Texans Academy Program. The purpose is to create a safe, enjoyable environment for players to learn. CTAP is broken into three levels of development. CTAP Players will also have the opportunity to play in our in house Academy Soccer League (ASL) on Saturdays. Elite players will participate in the Player Development Friendlies (PDF) League on Sundays.
